BUGS Banquet: A Royal Pre & ROYALTY.
On April 6th, join BUGS for a night of royal fun!
The evening will start out with BUGS BANQUET: A ROYAL PRE, a 2-course dinner at Accords le Bistro! From 5:00-8:00 pm, enjoy a lovely meal and celebrate the year in biochemistry and honour our graduating students! Tickets for the dinner are $30, and can be purchased along with tickets for the formal ball! Due to limited space, 20 spots are reserved for U3s, but all years are invited and welcome! Additionally, U3s have access to the BUGS bursary program to help pay for this evening (details on the Facebook event)!
Following the banquet, at 8:00pm-2:00am Biochemistry will be joined by Neuroscience and Physiology for ROYALTY, a formal ball for the ages! Featuring DJs and an open bar, come dance the night away with these three awesome departments and remember to dress to impress!

Our most anticipated event of the year was a success once again! A weekend in the woods with new and old biochemistry friends, with fun activities planned, lots of free time and of course a hot tub! On Friday, March 16th, 5:00-8:30pm, BUGS hosted our annual Career Symposium! Biochemistry alumni were invited back to McGill to discuss the wide variety of career paths they have taken and how their undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry led them to their current positions. The evening featured a variety of speakers from different fields, followed by cocktails, snacks and an opportunity to ask questions and interact with our alumni.

BUGS Clothing & Food Drive in Support of Dans La Rue

This Valentine’s Day, show a little love to the homeless youth in Montreal ♥ ♥ Up until Feb 14th, BUGS will be collecting new or gently used clothing, non-perishable food and gift cards, or monetary donations to donate to the Montreal-based organization Dans la rue.
Contributors are encouraged to drop off physical donations during our BUGS office hours (McMmed 510, Mon-Thu 10:30-1:30, Fri 10:30-2:30). U-reps from each year will be making brief class announcements to collect monetary donations. Check out the Facebook event for more details and a list of recommended donation items!
