McGill Students For Organ Donation Awareness is proud to present Live Life, Pass It On: seminar on organ donation awareness. 

When: October 21st, at 6:00pm

Where: McMed 1034

Why: Organ-donation is, understandably, a touchy subject. We present you with three speakers that will address the benefits and realities of organ-donation. As you learn more about organ-donation, we hope that you form an educated decision on your own role in the organ-donation process. 


  • Gordon Denison, Transplant Recipient & Motivational Speaker.
  • Dr. Quim Madrenas, MD/PhD. Professor & Chair of the Department of Immunology and Microbiology.
  • Dr. Sam Shemie, MD. Division of Critical Care, Montreal Children’s Hospital, MUHC Medical Director, Extracorporeal Life Support Program of Pediatrics, McGill University Leob Chair and Research Consortium in Organ and Tissue Donation.
