On Saturday Nov 21st, the Biochemistry Undergraduate Society & Department of Biochemistry is hosting its annual Research Awareness Day (RAD). The day consists of rapid fire presentations from Biochemistry faculty members, followed by a lunch where students will rotate through tables and engage with the Biochem professors. Afterwards, we will have a poster fair and Wine & Cheese with graduate students in the Biochem program.

RAD is a fantastic way to learn about all the exciting Biochemistry research being conducted at McGill and determine which lab’s research you find most interesting. RAD also provides an amazing platform to connect with Profs and grad students alike, garnering a valuable perspective on what it’s like to conduct Biochem research at McGill. Very excitingly, RAD also explores all the various ways undergrad students can get involved in Biochem research.

The event runs from 10:00am-4:00pm and includes lunch, snacks, beverages, and more! Registration is only $5 and can be directly accessed through this form (http://goo.gl/forms/KgqXknDp0i), or by visiting bugs.sus.mcgill.ca. If you prefer to pay in person, you can complete your registration by visiting the BUGS office in McMed 905. Registration closes on Friday, Nov 13th. Super excited to see you all there!
